Returns & Refund Policies

Please read the specific policies on items listed below.

All Used Items:  All Used items, including headstalls, bits, reins, breast collars, halters, cinches, saddle pads, sports boots, clothing, purses, boots, accessories, etc are sold in ‘As Is’ condition and are not returnable for a refund or exchange.

Saddle Return Policy:  We understand the importance of your saddle fitting both you and your horse.  When your saddle arrives, please inspect it carefully, saddle your horse with it using a clean pad, and make sure you are satisfied with the quality and fit. 

If you purchase the saddle on-site at JLM The Store, you have 48 hours to take the saddle home to ensure it fits both you and your horse. If the saddle is not returned within 48 hours (2 days) of purchase, a refund is no longer available.   

If the saddle is shipped to you, you have 3 days from the date tracking shows it was delivered to advise you’ll be returning the saddle.  You must text us at 928-224-8290 to advise that the saddle is being returned.  You are responsible for the shipping costs to return the saddle.  Tracking for the return must be provided within 72 hours (3 days) of the original tracking showing the saddle was delivered.

Used saddles must be returned in the condition in which they were purchased to get a full refund.

On "most" used saddles, we encourage you to ride them to ensure it fits both you and your horse.  Just be sure to return the saddle clean and in the same condition you received it in if you decide it doesn’t work for you. 

There may occasionally be an exception to this policy.  Specifically, if we are selling a ‘used’ saddle and it is in ‘new’ condition with tags still on it from the saddle maker.  Since the value of this saddle will change the moment it is ridden, this saddle will not be returnable and will be sold in ‘As Is’ condition.  

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If approved, the refund will be for the original sales price plus tax.  Original shipping costs are not refunded

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 3-5 business days of the approved refund.

Damages & Shortages : Please contact us immediately after you have inspected the package so we can notify the delivery carrier to start a claim on your package. Damages and shortages must be reported within 72 hours.
